Senior Citizens Need To Have Required Drivers Tests

A friend of mine encouraged me to start blogging my life because sometimes it is so crazy that it is almost funny. So I decided why not? I am not the best at keeping up with stuff like this, but I am going to try to keep up with things no matter how boring.

So I'll start with my first gripe. First of all I live in a retirement community and, honestly, they think they own the road.....I mean sphere! I really am beginning to believe that there should be a drivers test every year once you reach a certain age. If I, one person, have seen this many things( things I truly have to push my mouth closed about) then it can't be random right? I anyone hearing me on this? There is a road here 195 that is known as one of the most dangerous stretches of road around because there have been so many accidents. I was shocked to watch a person stop (in the middle of an intersection) only to decide they better keep going. Thought that was random until I watched them stop at the next red light (this time on the right side of the intesection) and then proceed to go on through it once they saw no cars going!!!This happened weeks ago.

But yesterday I made a quick run to our little town, was traveling about 60. I saw a person rolling up to a stop sign on my left of a county road. They were rolling fast enough I thought they might not stop so I start slowing down. I watch as they pause at the stop sign and proceed to roll out into my lane. I had to swerve out of the road into the ditch, still don't know how they missed me. I have a 11 month old baby right on the side they almost hit. All I remember seeing is a handicap sign swinging from the rearview mirror. My heart was pounding so I drove about 50 for a while and was leaving them in the dust! So, the rush through the stop sign was for..........? Take a freaking driver's test people!!!!!!
